The Steadfast Sprout is currently a small mercenary group with a neutral alignment, taking on jobs for the highest bidder with the utmost privacy for the commissioner and the hired hand.They are a group of misfits with questionable morals. It is never known what kind of trouble will arise from the jobs they've been hired for.One thing is for sure, they get the job done; maybe not well, but done.It is rumored that the leader of the group is trying to amass a fortune, to the point she's willing to reward people from all walks of life handsomely for their loyalty.Start from the trenches and rise through the ranks by overcoming difficult missions to earn your place among your peers. Discover secrets, find lost treasure, and do your damned job.For this group was formed with one goal in mind, and one goal only:

Howdy! To tell you a bit about who we are, I'd like to think we're a bunch of goofballs who have fun rp'ing and don't want to be locked into a more dark or light-leaning FC.We function off of being kind and having respect for everyone, and when disagreements happen we talk them out.This FC is a labor of love, a positive space for LGBTQIA+ people, and a place to encourage character growth and development.I just want people to have fun as we all tell a story together.

Free Company Rules

  • We are an LGBTQIA+ friendly community. If you disagree with that, then we are not a good fit for you.

  • We require all members to be 21 years of age or older in real life.

  • We do not tolerate harassment of any kind. Keep it civil, and if there are any concerns, please feel free to contact a staff member.

  • There is a 60 day inactivity timer before someone is removed from the Free Company. Please try to be somewhat active and interact!

  • There are three strikes in effect for those who break any of the rules in place until someone is removed, with exceptions for egregious offenses.

Roleplay Rules

  • Transactions in roleplay will always only be in roleplay, not literal gil or items.

  • No meta-gaming or godmodding.

  • Do not blur the lines of IC and OOC.

  • Be sure to confirm consent for and IC situations that require it.

  • Characters with a focus on ERP are not a good fit for this Free Company.

Character Rules

  • Characters must be lore-abiding with minimal bending of the lore. We can be flexible, but strive to keep it as close to canon as possible.

  • We require all characters within the free company to be 20 years or older.

  • These are the character types that will be approved on a case-by-case basis:

roleplay

General Information

The next Roleplay Event is on August 22nd.

  • We tentatively run Roleplay Events monthly on Fridays at 6 PM EST. These events vary from social events to combat-focused adventures, and range from 3 to 5 hours.

  • For combat-focused events run by the officers, we use a d20 combat system with light character sheets hosted in the Discord.

  • There is an overarching story brewing in the background of the Free Company that you are more than welcome to leave your mark on, and is quite easy to jump in on!

  • We have a job board for prompts and for members to host their own Roleplay Events!

  • There is an in-character cross-world linkshell to use.

  • We do have an event feedback form linked in our discord for people to use to suggest any constructive criticism for how any events are run, we are open to it!

Rules & Etiquette

  • We expect members to show respect and courtesy to their fellow members and those running the events, raising any concerns and issues in private.

  • If there is a disconnect in roleplay styles, you are not forced to roleplay with them.

  • When issues arrive with a member's presence at an event because of attitude or breaching other rules, they will be asked to leave the event.

  • Most officer-run Roleplay Events are considered open to members only, and will be listed as open if others are allowed to be invited.

No matter how questions and communication goes, we will ask you to fill out an application. You can skip questions and go straight to filling it out if you want.We want to know details about your character and what they seek to do within the Free Company's premise. Such details can include a write-up, carrd, or RPHub profile. If you don't have any of these, we appreciate much more detail on the other parts of the form.If everything ends up feeling like a fit, then we will invite you to the Free Company and try to get in touch with you out of character. Afterward, we'll establish a roleplay to introduce your character to everyone else.
